Treering Themes

We are using one shared system so:

• We don’t accidentally use the same photo twice.
• Everyone knows where photos go.
• Designers only use photos that are approved.

Your roles

Photographer

You:

• Take photos.
• Copy ALL raw photos to your team hard drive.
• Choose the best photos.
• Rename the photos that get approved.
• Upload approved photos to Google Drive in the correct event folder. </aside>

Designer

You:

• Only use approved photos from Google Drive.
• Pay attention if TreeRing shows a photo as “Used.” </aside>

Where photos live

Team hard drive (raw + working)

• Raw photos live on your team hard drive.
• All choosing and renaming happens on the hard drive.

Google Drive (approved only)

• Folder: Yearbook Photos
  • 10_APPROVED
    • Event folders like 0916_RALLY

Important:

• Google Drive is for approved photos only.
• If a photo is not in 10_APPROVED, it is not ready to use.

Team codes (use in photo names)

Use these exact team codes (all caps):

• FUEGO = Fuegos
• BBAYM = BBaymen7
• RRATS = Radio Rats
• UNISP = Unicorn Sparkles
• WADDX = Waddle Express </aside>

Naming rules
